Who makes a muffler for Profession (China) pipes?

Yeah, it's not one of the biggies but somehow I got 2 of them. I want to try them but would like them quieted. They have a big outlet but from what I've seen, Mike Tyson doesn't have one.
Does he or anybody else make one?

Mike is usually pretty good for helping customers with custom jobs. I am sue if you give him the O.D. of the stinger on the pipe he can set you up.

Ron,

Just add an INTERNAL stinger to the pipe.

That pipe need MORE back pressure any way, and this mod makes pipe whisper quiet with no need for a muffler.

I had originally left enough of the 1/2 O.D. stinger hanging out to attach a TYSON muffler. After running it found the muffer was over kill and not even required to be sub 90 DBa

Thanks for the help Scott. I made up an internal stinger for it from 2 pieces of brass tubing, one sleeved over the other for a better fit then JB Welded into place. The larger outer one only goes as far as the stinger does.
Now ot see how it works when the boat shows up later this week and I get time to hit the water, probably the holiday weekend.

Scott, what is the id and length off the internal stinger, and do you have to drill any holes in it. Performance wise, is it a good pipe?.
Thanks.

I no longer have the pipe, sold it with the Cat it was installed in.

The length however was set so the end of internal stinger was RIGHT AT the maximum diameter ( Or a tad shorter by @ 1/4 inch )

Pipe runs pretty well, but falls short of the current designs by NFS / ACE / QD hot pipes ect.

Used in a sport application where a Wrap To Center is needed, a Good choice :cheer:

I followed what Scott told me. Inside the stinger it stops a few inches inside (a weld or something in there). I used the 1/2\" brass tubing then the next size larger and it was a god fit. Some JB Weld took care of what little gap was left. I driled a hole near where the two pieces met for oil drainage.
After finally getting it fired up it does sound loud yet but once I hit the water and see what my dB meter says then I'll know if it's going to need more muffling. It should be easy to put just about any popular muffler on it if I need to. The internal stinger should come out fairly easily then I can add some extra to fit one on.
