Please help choosing a Seaducer

Trini created the topic: Please help choosing a Seaducer

Hello everyone, I am new to this forum and to this hobby. Those of you who are familiar with the Seaducer line of hulls, can you please give me some advise. I am faced with two choices; the 47 Mono, which I would buy new from Jerry in FL or a new 44 Mono available to me from a local, very experienced model boater, willing to help me through the build. I would have to pay him to give me free time outside the club meets to help me build my boat when I decided to go the 47 route. I am considering getting the 44 because I am new to this hobby, and would rather build a good boat than buying a RTR. The local model boater is also willing to help, time and give me access to his well equipped workshop and tools if I purchase the 44 from him. What would you guys recommend?

Thank you

I dont know much about monos but I do know Seaducer builds the rippn boats! I mainly run Hydros and Cats. My Seaducer Hyrdo should be here any day:woohoo: Also Jerry should supply you with all the info you need to get your boat set up...even which prop to run. Good luck and let us know how the build goes!

How long does it take to receive a boat?

I think they had some Monos in stock if your not picky about color. He told me 2 weeks for the hydro...but I am running a front intake motor and he had to put in different motor mounts which are pre installed (look on the home page here for the Seaducer hydro build). Which took longer. He's not so great about returning calls but keep calling and he will call you back that my only complaint. You wont be disappointed in the quality. Plus his record speaks for itself.

I hope you have looked around cause there are many GREAT boats out there.

Also check out the resource section of this website go to the bottom for set up tips click on Monohulls you can check out many different boats
