Insane Gen3 Mono testing

marc created the topic: Insane Gen3 Mono testing

Got the new Insane Gen3 mono wet for the first time tonight! I am very please with the way it performed! Racing side by side with a Gen 2 Insane that I also setup (for a friend) and it performed VERY well! Actually they both performed very well! It seems the changes Jeff did to the deck seam and windshield are making for a less lifting boat, which was the intent. The boat handles really good and is fast!

Tested with XX Tater Voodoo prop tonight...Gen2 was running a Austin 7016/3 done up for the boat. I also have a Austin 472 (old reliable), so will be doing more testing soon, but all in all VERY happy with this boat! Power is a killer CC Racing Engines 260! :)

Video and pics will follow in due time. Have to burn some more gas in here and see how much more she's got in her! :)
