hi there i am new to model boating and i am building a outrigger with a g231 motor i have built my own as noone that i have seen has gas riggers in new zealand only glow motors my question is turn fins and what is better shallow long fin or a short deep fin like a rudder? thanks for your input and this is a great site to learn from

Semi shallow long for smoother water and testing. Deeper the fin, stiffer it must be.

testing on a unknown hull, trial and error is the only way to fine tune the fin specs tho :side:
