I have asked the same Question!!!

It boils down to $$$$$$$$$ have you bought epoxy latley not to mention carbon fiber

matting. You build it Ill buy it, that is why I went with Seaducer but only the bottom half of the hull is carbon:(

Seen a few 100% Carbon lay ups from INSANE boats this past year.

Not seen any KEVLAR lay ups in years, Had a Microburst mono and a Bandit mono in Kevlar  What TOUGH boats !!

Iv'e done two carbon/kev. hybrid layups in the 84 in. cat mold. Bagging is overkill on the hull, but I will be bagging the hathces and the decks for now on. I like the idea of lighter mass up top. Epoxy rules in the laminating dept. Super sticky, smells nice,(verses poly) Strong. In my application the price is nearly comparable to v-ester, by volume anyways.

Europeans are, here is one example Prestwich
The majority of European endurance boat are epoxy/carbon/kevlar/tiger mat, bagged and baked. The result, as you say, is a strong and lightweight hull.

A link to injection technique used for the first time on a FSR-V hull. I'm afraid the text is in Swedish but the pics tell the story rather well. The white patch on the finished hull is where the transponder will sit. No carbon here as it affects the transponder signal.
