Hi im a rc boater in Malaysia i have F1 catamaran and mono cougar powered modified zenoah 26cc komatsu.

I have a question about this to type of zenoah komatsu and zenoah Z-power, some say z-power is made in china and komatsu made in japan. We have encounter this two type brands and we found that brand zenoah z-power stock engine abit left behind compare to zenoah komatsu stock engine prop, body hull, hardware setting is the same even we change both engine using 813A carb.

I wonder any of u guys notice this or not.

i beleve the clone dosent have the same coil as real z and revs less and less power , and must be other diffrences.proble cheeper bearings seals etc???? . it would be good to know....
is this the difrent motors you are talking about or ???. is there diffrent ones again.

Sorry i been away on vacation, Z-power is not a clone but done by other company, Aswana company base in china. That why the box packaging different Z-power come in white paper and Komatsu is brown box. The Zenoah Z-power have same cource coil, carb 644 and everything is the same. performence a bit less than Zenoah komatsu. Z-power got Zenoah logo on head block

I know between Zenoah and China clone zenoah. China zenoah have black coil,metal water jacket.

i do know the zenoah are now run under huscvana ( dont know corect spelling on that), and are no longer under komatsu ... but every box i have here and manual say made in japan not china??.

i just receive stock zenoah from US last week and it's Z-power not komatsu(look from the box).How you compare both zenoah-you cannot get the same speed even you run same type of boat and same hardware....
