I have been wanting to build one of those since I first got into RC over 20 years ago but never did it...it's nice to see someone actually go through with doing it! The guy seems real passionate about it also. I am trying to contact him and will probably try to arrange to go see these little sleds sometime!

Cool video. I started to build an RC ice racer while living in St. Paul, MN. I stopped the project when I transfered to Seattle. Mine had the skis just like a snowmobile but I put a fairly large diameter skinny wheel with studs in the rear center to drive it. I was going to mount a air cooled Zenoah with a belt drive for power.

Those are kool. My buddy at Lunatik Engineering made one of those from an HPI Baja5b.

If you ever find out some more information about these sleds let me know as I'm interested in one. Any way to put a Zenoah engine in it?? Thanx, Tom H .

Been trying to contact the guy, but no luck so far. I think you should be able to run a Zen in the gas version he has. It is running a 16cc engine...should be possible to fit in a Zen...sounds like a perfect project for a 20cc Zen to me!
