has anyone set one up, personal experience running one, how do they run?

I've never owned one myself. If looking for a racing cat, I don't think it would be the best choice from Aeromarine...the HOT Aeromarine cat right now is the Conquest. VERY fast and stable if setup correctly! If just for fun, the Popeye should do just fine. Sorry I can't be of more help on this one.

that hull is junk we tried for almost 2 yr to get it to run decent . you cant get it too air out we moved the engine everywhere strut everywhere a hundred props save your money and buy a good hull, if someone gives it to you , give it away save yourself the aggrevation

I have ran boat, boat runs well cg at 32% boat ran 38.87 mph first run at just under 16,788 rpms. my problem is i loose alot of speed in turns. i am running a 7016/3 bsp prop.

Whats up guys,have seen the racing cats that mhz shows in their online store?,they look real nice and aerodynamic,a 41" and 42",they are called "race cats".have any of you messed with them at all?,thanks
