After a bad experiance with my cooper pipe on my st254 engine "in the hydro"it would not run over 5mph & would blow the pipe off.. With the 2" band pipe it runs sweet & fast but very loud "i think it had a problem with back pressure " .I was considering one of these cgi.ebay.com/aluminum-water-co...bayphotohosting any thoughts or comment's please before i spend my money

After my experiance with the cooper pipe iam wondering if a muffled pipe is going to be any good on the s254 engine the cooper silent pipe was naff & by naff i mean real crap i could of walked round the lake faster & the engine would not rev up .Although i got what i payed for it was very quite till it came off lmao

The Jeroen quiet pipe may be one to look into. My tests with the stainless steel version a while back yielded good results and VERY quiet. There is now an aluminum version available in the US.

i've tested most of them and my no 1 choice by far is the steel pipe from cc racing, more rpm's,more power, more speed and very easy to adjust lenth

Strange, I have very good experience with the cooper QHP2 pipe on the RCMK S254. I run a selfmod S254, exhaust widened approx 2mm, 178 timing, intake stock timing, widened approx 1mm and cleaned up. Eyebrows on the transfers,(intake side)not widened, but gradually smoothed in, exhaust runners untouched. It is reving 18700 with stock Voodoo 6719/3 on my Zippkits Rockett, with a very smooth powerband. Pipe lenght is 350mm following the pipe from exhaust to the weld. It is running stronger than any of my mod Zenoahs. Great engine.
