The Gas WOOD Whiplash is pretty much the undisputed KING of the class for those few fortunate enough to own one !!
They are a KIT requiring complete assembly, and very well worth the effort I might add :headbang:

Until you have seen a Whiplash run, all you have seen are decent running boats ... these hulls are just ballistic !!

Cant wait to get mine in the water.

Let just say mine will drag race from just fast enough to stay on plane to 70 mph + in @ 40-50 feet, that about as Drag race quick as you going to get. Sport 40 Whip is meant to have a .45 size nitro motor in it... dont think id try sticking a zenoah in a 36" sport hydro.

Maybe a fun SAW boat with a hot .67 in one though
