Guys,
Just wanted to give a big congratulations to John Finch for resetting his own IMPBA LS27 Sport Hydro record twice today at the Old Dominion Model Boating Association record trials. With his CC Racing Pro Mod Zenoah Powered/ Finch modified Whiplash John went a fast one way pass of 89.9 mph and a two way average and new IMPBA record of 88.94 mph. Since switching to the new CC Racing Pro Mod engine with the new style CC Racing design CNC Cylnder and Piston John bettered his own world record by over 6 and half mph over his previous record.

Chris Grim is also there helping tweak his record setting SAW props for John and the guys and I was told that they have had very little run time as the weather does not seem to want to cooperate and that John and Chris are fairly certain that with some more time on the water that he can go over 90mph. Chris is also there helping Preston Hall as he is there going after the LS27 cat record. Good Luck guys I wish I was there with you.

The latest news I have is that John has set the record at 89.003 and has quit for the weekend as he thinks the boat might be taking on water from a blowover earlier in the day.

Preston is still going to run if the weather will allow and is still going after the LS27 cat record.
