Looking for a Sikk schematic

Ronald Olson created the topic: Looking for a Sikk schematic

I need one of those exploded views of a Sikk. There is an ulterior motive for this in a way as I've got a problem with one of mine and have an idea for a quick and cheap fix. If it works, I'll let all of you know.

I'm a sikk user myself. Whats the problem, maybe I can help.

OK, I'll let the cat out of the bag. Since I haven't fully torn one down yet I may have found a cure for 2 problems that may be taken care of easily. What I want to do is place a spacer behind the flywheel if possible. This should fix the problem with worn pawls on the flywheel as many people complain about pull-starters not having much life in Sikk's and secondly, while looking mine over I noticed that the magnets on the flywheel aren't exactly centered to the coil pick-ups. The thickness of a washer that would go in there could solve those problems if my idea worked.

Probably, but since I've got 2 of these things I'm trying to see if I can get at least one to stay running then use the other for parts if need be. I do have another RCMK on the way.

I would think that the cylinder would break AFTER loosening somewhat.I don't see how the number of bolts could matter as long as it stays secure. I have safety wired the bolts and hope to avoid that. But we'll see. I only have about a gallon thru it, and I will let you know if it lets loose.
