Another question is, Where is your center of gravity? Having the proper balance is a key factor in performance and ride characteristics of the boat. I like to set up my deep vee mono's at 33-34% from the prop. This helps to get the bow up and also tends to let the hull skip waves in stead of cutting. Does that hull have strakes on the bottom? If so sharpen the edges and check the flats, as HMETAH said, it may have a hook in it. One other thing to consider is torque roll from the prop, depending on the size and pitch.
