Ive noticed some watercooled exhaust manifolds have a hole on top of them which is not filled, what does it do?:? Thanks for the help with the engie mounts.

the hole is located at the back of my manifold.

I think you will find it plugged with a set screw. Ihis is a cross passage drilled to connect the water inlet to the water outlet.
