Sorry guys but another newby question!!!!:dash:  Can I install the stuffing tube in the boat perfectly straight with no bend and the engine mounted at an angle of around 20-30 degrees?

If I follow the question ... NO

The cable as it needs to bend for drive collet alignment needs to do so supported by the stuffing tube.
A cable bent and unsupported in open air will whip and destroy it's self and the surrounding area

You need a bend in the cable and tube that suports it or it will whip and as said destroy itself. If you want a direct drive with no bend you have to use a solid stainless shaft and submerged drive.Bending a stuffing tube is easy, install the flex inside the tube and bend it by hand nice and slow that way you wont kink the tube, ive never had a problem bending them this way.
