Why would you ? ... want higher octane mix it with regular gas.
Boosters are for gasoline, Coleman is Naptha !
Not sure what effect it would have if any ?

Thanks. It was just a thought. I have just switched to colman fuel
and had to adjust the high needle to get my rigger to run properly.

Didn't know it was now accepted in IMPBA...so many changes I can't keep track. It's like there's new proposals and changes every couple months!

Can someone point this out to me in the IMPBA rulebook please. I just checked and it still says:

Coleman fuel is not gasoline, it's naphtha.

What number (RON) Octane rating should you be looking for for a stock Zenoah?

What about modified Zenoah? (I have a couple[4] O Neill Brothers modified 260's for a upcoming projects

I currently mix Canadian premium (96 - 98 RON) 75% and 25% Coleman fuel (naptha - it's over 20 gal here) and Amsoil 2 stroke am I wasting my money adding the coleman fuel

I live up north so the water is usually on the cool side if that has any effect ... my engines run pretty cool...

Many thanks for all the tech info ...great advice

Thanks

We just made over 50 dyno runs of fuel tests with a mod Zenoah. The results will be published in the next NAMBA Propwash. The bottom line is you don't need to worry about your fuel or oil choice as far as power is concerned.

I agree with you on that Lohring. I was just pulling his leg really. But now that's it's been brought up the Naphtha is legal in IMPBA, I would just like to see where it's clearly written. :)
