tried to start the engine today, had few putts but nothing really starting. any help, tried w/ the choke on and off and the bulb is primed, i have spark

Usually i prime the motor by doing two very slow pulls(very slow) on the cord to draw fuel in after priming the bulb and while choke is on ,you should here a pop then i give a short sharp pull she should fire after a cpl pulls this way.Make sure you have throttle set at 1/4 open never fails for me.

New motors can be tricky which is why you need to make sure you choke the motor correct.Have you checked to see if the plug is wet after a few pulls to make sure you have fuel going where its needed?.Make sure fuel lines are on correct also. You say your getting good spark or id say check your not using anodized mounts which can cause this problem due to not allowing a good spark.
