I'M TRYING TO CONVERT A NITRO RIGGER TO GAS BUT THE CENTER TUB IS 4".. DOES ANYONE MAKE MOTOR MOUNTS FOR 4" STRINGERS:dash:

Contact Andy Brown at CMDI racing, he might be able to help you out, I have not ordered parts from him for a while not sure if he's still in business or not.

At 4" you need to set up like a nitro boat. Oversize hole in sides of tub, Fat o-rings in holes, shoulder bolts or sleeved bolts threw o-rings into mounts.

They work OK, but vibration is pretty heavy with gassers and hull may vibrate apart :?

Hi,
It is an unusual width but if you contact
www.sonicracingaustralia.com he will make solid mounts right down to 3 1/2inches.
I know it is in Australia but a lot us buy stuff from the US so it is easy to purchase.
