Exhaust Manifold.

Hi guys,
I was just wondering what to do with the hole that is on top of my exhaust manifold from manufacture. I asked this question before but didn't understand the answer. I really need help with this. The hole stoppedme taking the boat out for the first time yesterday.:dash:

Post a picture if you can, or at least tell us what kind of manifold it is. Usually there are two holes for water fittings to water cool the manifold.

Put a plug in it if is the one on top or botom and not the sides .
It should be the same size 10/32 if not take it with you to the hardware store and se what it is with the different plugs.

, you can see the one hole plugged with a 10-32 brass plug.

I plug mine with a shorty SS 10-32 set screw and a bit of red loc-tite.
