I am a little new to this site but my question is I have a stryker hydro gen2 that I got on a trade and I am not sure how the set up is supposed to be. I have a mod motor in it from hmetalh and I cant get the boat to move, the prop is a 6717 with a 420 pitch and the strut height from the bottom of the drive to the bottom of the boat is an 1and a half inch can anyone tell me if this sounds right since i am used to cats and new to the hydro and the prop is a 3 blade thanks D:)

You can't get the boat to move. I am assuming it starts and you put it in the water and it just cavitates. Prop sounds right and the strut depth is ok. Sometimes you have to give it a good throw and work it on plane. If you just set a hydro in the water and hit the throtle, the prop will just spin and not grab---cavitation.
