What is the best oil to use for a 26cc zenoah engine, I am currently using a fully synthetic oil is this the best sort to use, if so what is the best mix ,is 16:1 okay

16:1 is what I mix my fuel to. I am a big fan of Honda HP2 synthetic oil. I've tried many others and keep going back to this one. I run conventional Mercury Quicksilver outboard oil for the first gallon or so through a new engine to break it in then I switch over to the HP2. Both mixed at 16:1.

You'll get a lot of answers to this, for me Castrol A747 has proven itself several times.

I have tried all three and have found they ALL work well. I found that it comes down to a personal preference. The choice is yours, but remember do NOT ever try any cheapies they just don't cut the mustard.

We just ran a series of dyno fuel tests. At the same oil mixture (8 oz per gallon) there was NO difference in power with any of the different oils. This doesn't answer any questions of clean burning or engine wear, but as far as power goes it doesn't matter.

I switched over from HP2 to Cool Power carting oil. Found that the HP2 was creating a lot of carbon build up. Cool power has yet to show any signs of carbon build up.

Roger that. I was using HP2 and had a lot of oil running out the pipe all over the back cowl. Had some Cool Power laying around and mixed 10oz to the gallon....Problem solved and the engine seems to like it more. Smells different too. Cheaper than HP2
