Hi,
I have found those long pool noodles work well, just keep the fuel away from it. They can easily be cut up or even shaped to suit your requirements.:bye:

Hi again,
Spray foam will work also but it can be pretty permanent ie. you will have to cut it out to remove it

Pool noodles, Foam pipe insulation, Wall board foam, Styrofoam packing in a SEALED zip lock bag, Empty water bottles etc ....

Styro & gas don't like each other, so you CAN'T use block Styrofoam by itself unless in a sealed wrapping of some sort

Spray foam is not good. It will permanently soak up water and weigh down the hull, not to mention make it rot over time. Pool noodles, pipe insulation, etc as Scott noted is the way to go. Replace them if they get waterlogged over time. It is a good idea to tie them to the stringers, that way if the deck of the boat breaks off, the noodles will stay attached to all the $$$ parts!
