I have one, it's a great motor. Uses a CY crank with adapter. It's illegal for LS classes in IMPBA though because of mixed manufacturer components.

We've been testing the new Chung Yang 27 which has a 34 mm bore and a 30 mm crank. The engine seems to have more high end power than the 35 mm bore, 28 mm stroke engine. I believe the smaller bore gives wider transfer passages and allows better breathing at high rpm.

Keep in mind if you are adding a longer stroke crank to a MODIFIED motor there is a chance that your piston will hit the top of the cylinder! However this depends on your squish clearance. I am not sure how your motor is modified but if the motor has been decked or the base gasket removed this is a possibility. Also keep in mind this will change the timming of an engine, in your case it could be for better or worse...... Again it depends on how the motor was built.

STOCK motors will benifit from longer cranks and these statements are NOT an issue.
