I've seen and raced against a few... they are fast monos! Personally I think the quality is not up to par with some of the better companies out there, but it's not bad. I just think they are layed up light. At least the ones I saw.

I've seen some guys do pretty well racing them. Probably not the best rough water boat, but get out front and go! ha ha.. All in all, not a bad mono.

I've seen a few different lay ups of the same hull. Get the original & not a copy, the copy I saw from the states had a wavy bottom & just didn't handle like it should. The Delta Force hulls from Delta Force all run well.

Hi thanks for the help on this I appreciate it
there are copies being made in the us of there hulls I did not know that
I would like to contact Delta force to see were I can get an official
hull but I think this might be kind of hard seeing they are in Hong Kong
there are a few places on the web that clam to be Delta force dealers
and carry them but I would like a nice straight hull not a knock off are there any places on the web you might recommend I know of one in Australia as well
but I might get killed on shipping I think they have some cool design for there v hulls sitting on top of the water like that less friction
I do not know of any one else how make any thing like it?

Thanks you for your help

I have two of the Delta Force Sniper hulls, 1 gas and 1 electric. I like the boats. Fast, handle rough water well, and if you get an actual DF hull the quality is very good.

Steven at Offshore electrics carries them:

Scroll down. Offshore is an extremely reliable and quality vendor.

My electric has done some 82 MPH passes on a SAWS course.

Here's a video. It is stuck to the water here since it is set up for race water. The hull definitely likes it a little choppy.

Here's some video pf the electric version running on a VERY small pond. It was propped down here as well due to the small pond.

And finally just some photos of the two. Hardware is all Speedmaster.

Oh, and the Silex and the Sniper are NOT the same boat. I have had mine right next to a Silex on the bench and there are different.

Whats different between them underneath ? the deltas and the silex are the same underneath as they all derive from the same design.Whhobbies dont post pics of the silex bottom on the site but everything is identical to the lynx ,same delta pad same strakes everything. The tops are different and thats it,maybe the new deltas are different i dont know but the orriginal is identical to the lynx and silex apart from the top.Can we see a pic of your sniper and we can see how different they are underneath?.

I'll see if I can find some pictures of mine. Can't say about the Lynx, but when I had mine side by side with the Silex they did not appear to be the same. I do not want to turn this into an argument about who splashed who or when.

The Sniper is a very capable boat and I like mine a lot. The OP wanted info on the DF boats and this is my experience with them. I also have the DF Storm in FE. Smaller 32-inch hull, but very similar to the Sniper. Again, a very quick boat with very nice glass work.

Naaa wasnt trying to start a splashing war just interested to see if the sniper is different as the other hulls are all derived from its design.I agree theyre nice hulls and the lynx ones also come in 32" versions too.
