THX Doug so what i have read on the two you say the prowler is the better one to go with and do this boat need any thing done to the bottom or just leave it flat? What is the best props you found worked the best for the prowler?

O and thx for the plans of the 2 boats i have enjoyed building the four or five wildthing in the pass

Your boat looks like it runs real nice with the Ryobi and a good looking paint job too.
Leave the bottom flat. I don't think strakes are necessary either, although a lot of guys have put them on. I am using a mod Zenoah in my boat. The boat runs well with a few different props I've tried. A Voodoo 6717/3 works well. The ABC 3014 is the prop I've used the most and it's very fast. A week or so ago I tried a 7016/3 and I think it was the fastest prop I've tried yet although I didn't have a GPS in the boat so I don't have any numbers for speed. Let me know how it goes when you build it. Doug

One super sweet build!

Please keep us posted on how it performs. Once the setup is
adjusted that will be a screaming mono.

BTW, is this your first CY F273? I run the same engine and
so far have been pleased with it.

Sorry I dont mean to hijack this thread, since we are on the topic of wildthing and Prowler, I have a question on why isnt that many 72" monos built? Is it the cost, lack of a captivating name ;) or it doesn't perform as well as the smaller monos? Appreciate everyone's insights on this including Doug's!

Again Doug thanks for your plans, really fun to build and a great starter's plan!
