Let us know how it is. Hopefully you're not disappointed. Post some pictures if you get the chance, I'm sure we'd all like to get a look. If anything sticks out that may need beefing up or can be modified to give you more speed or power, I'm sure people will be able to help you.

Quality RTR vehicles in rc are the best thing that can happen to the hobby. If there is an easy way for someone to get into the hobby with a decent boat it will help the hobby grow. More people in the hobby = more big manufacturers building more affordable parts and more manufacturers.

My boat will be here tomarrow and I will take pics and post them. I have been in the rc hobbies for 18 years nad have been into boats before. Saddly I can't see the boat thing ever getting big in utah and I wish it would becouse I really like the boats. I have alot of friends that race and rock crawl with me and I dont see many of them buying into this. Maybe if this boat turns out good one or two of them but thats it.

Definitely keep us posted...

It is kind of amusing that you come on a forum and ask about a product. You gets a bunch of honest feedback from people who know what they are talking about, and then proceed to argue with them.

And I am sorry, but saying they come out of the same place as the V24 is NOT a ringing endorsement!!

And I agree, good quality RTR is a great thing, but everything suggests that this is not one of those. And it is not a cheap boat to start with at around $900 to $1,000, but if you can get it wholesale, then Godspeed to you.

The intent was not to bash the product, at least not on my behalf...if it was taken that way I apologize. The point I was trying to get across is to not be discouraged and give up on gas boats alltogether IF you are not satisfied with what you get. Was also just trying to recommend some companies that I personally believe put out decent RTR's as of present. The Venom might turn out to be a great first boat for you guys, and honestly I hope so! The more new people in the hobby the better!

I was asking about the realease of the boat and if anyone had seen them and info when they would be available.. I had ordered one through a friend who has an account with hrp. I could cancel the order at any time but would surly have one as soon as they were instock.
