Normally a center of gravity (CG) of about 32-34% works well on most monos I find. Looks like the motor could be moved forward some, but also looks like the boat isn't quite up to speed yet. Seems like it's running wet until it hits a wave, then it looks like it too lite in the nose. I would shoot for a CG of 33% and play with the rest, including tuning the pipe for best performance and trying different strut depths and props. Try keeping your strut angle at 0 degrees and if you have tabs, start neutral with them also. You should only need minor adjustments to the tabs. If you need to input too much tab to get the attitude you want, change props and or strut depths.

the boat is 1200 mm of lenght with rudder.

the engine is a zenoah g230 pum modified by hanson with pipe hanson too.

hanson call this modification " gold" the top (water circuit)of the cylinder is in gold colour.
this modification was made between 5 or 6 years ago.

i don't have the number part of the carburetor in head but i look this evening.

can see the engine on a picture when i have bought the boat.

I would probably leave the engine where it is then...or make sure not to go much more than 30% with CG. I would thing some of the following props should work ABC G20, Prather 270, Octura 470, 472, 670. These should be in the ballpark...

Here is a good article on finding the CG of your boat: www.modelgasboats.com/Magazine...er_Balance.html

Find out where yours balances and let us know. I would shoot for about 30% to start. The distance of engine to transom really means nothing. You have to know where the entire boat balances...that is your CG. :)

If memory serves me well, the 167 should be set at about 1-1/4 turn on the Low Needle and about 1-1/8 turn on the high. This will be a good starting point and optimum settings shouldn't be too far from that. ;)

Keep us posted!
