First I would like to Thank Marc for this wonderful site. Second Not sure if this is the right section but I wanted the thank the racers that could not keep it civil on JRCBD. Because of you I ( am not a racer) do not have acess to one of the webs more valuable rc boat website. Thanks again Bunch of grown men acting like babies.BTW thanks Jim for keeping it up and dealing with all the cra_ for as long as you did. I hope top see it up again.

I was amazed seeing the notice Jim has put up. I thoroughly understand his position and it was to be expected probably.
I really hope this thread does not go to the same level where persons are attacked personally etc.

The larger majority (i am one of them) "gets stuffed with the bill" and i to would like to express my thoughts and frustrations about this. Name-calling, personal attacks etc is NOT the way to do it.
It will only bring us down to a level where we do not want to be.... and gets forum/communities closed down.

And it will certainly not encourage Jim to bring the board back.

Things like whats happeneing now on Jim's are the EXACT reason I never progressed to being a racer ... just a sport boat guy because I like to JUST HAVE FUN

Don't have a cow guys! As sure as the sun comes up in the morning, I'm sure JRCBD will be back also. Jim is just wanting to calm things down I'm sure, and I don't blame him one bit.

As for this site...everyone is welcome to use it, but NOT for that kind of stuff. We are not here to be a hole filler for when Jim's is down. This forum is here to discuss about boats, not politics. Neither is it here to be competition to Jim's. Was initially set in place to allow members to interact with each other and with the editors.

There is no room for politics here. In fact only once did we have a discussion about IMPBA rules and I was the one to start it, and I quickly shut it down after realizing what a mistake it was.

I really regret letting myself get dragged into some of the discussions on Jim's sometimes too. We're all human I guess. Now it's time to take a break and try to get back to basics.

There will be some changes happening on here also shortly so stay tuned.

Well Put Marc. Thanks for everything you have done for the hobby. If there is anything I can do to help, please let me know.

Too sad what happened on Jim's. I followed the threads and with every post I have felt more sad. It is just a hobby. For stress I go to work...

thanks guys, when i needed the dock the most. you all that have ruined it for me and others, i just wanna say thank you.

well it was only a matter of time, its not like Jim hasn't warned everyone over & over. its just like everthing else we take for granted, it can easely be taken away because of a small groupof people.

that can happen here to so for the rest of us FOLLOW THE RULES.
